Scheduling Ads in a Rotation
There are times that you want to change your content based on date-time.
For example, you want to schedule the content of your pages and want to show one content for
a duration of N days and then the other for M days.
With DynAds, you can set
an ad to expire at a specific date and time.
When the time range expires, the ad is automatically taken out of rotation.
The following image shows the controls for setting the active start and end times of an ad.

Automatically changing content at specific intervals
Assume that you want to display a different content, whether a part of page or whole page itself,
automatically at specific time intervals such as every month.
And further assume that you have your contents available ready at hand.
By entering the contents into DynAds database
and by placing a rotation code into your page, you can easily automate this task.
Assuming that you want to rotate the contents monthly and you have 12 contents available at hand,
which are sufficient for one full year, follow these steps to rotate them automatically.
- For each content you have, create an ad in Ads menu. Enter the corresponding content
into the Header HTML field of the ad. After this step you should have 12 ads.
- Set the expire date and time for the ad to the end of the month the ad will be showed. For example,
for the ad corresponding to the content of January of 2004, enter 2004/1/31 23:59.
- Create an ad group in the Ad Groups menu of the admin panel.
Insert the ads created in the previous step starting from the first ad in order, that is from January to December.
- Go to the Code Generator menu and create the rotation code for the ad group.
Select an access code that is suitable for your content or page.
Select the Sequential ad selection method and check on the Ad Index check box.
Set the value of the text box equal to zero.
That is, the rotation code will always select the first active ad in the ad group.
- Paste the rotation code into your page where the content will appear.
Then, DynAds will serve the
content of the first active ad for one year. As the ads expire, the next ad in the ad group will be displayed.
